Team Maverick Lacrosse has a proven history of first and foremost teaching, then re-enforcing the fundamentals of character, integrity, respect, and sportsmanship. We believe these core principles will benefit your son for longer than they are likely to be playing the game of lacrosse.

Character

Doing the right thing when no one is looking.

Integrity

Not breaking the rules to gain an advantage, even if you don’t get caught.

Respect

Respect the game, respect your opponents/ref’s/adults, and respect yourself by playing within the rules.

Sportsmanship

Know how to play hard, play clean and win, but remember to be gracious in defeat, AND to be gracious in victory.

Perhaps what has been presented here is obvious, but some things you can’t hear enough, especially when it impacts decisions you are making that involve your family.
